Provimi Foods opens new R&D facility.
Seymour, Wisconsin, 3/9/07 - Provimi Foods announced the opening of its new on-site gourmet, R&D kitchen. With its on-site chef, Provimi Foods can develop, test and present recipes and new products to clients in a hands-on, working environment. The kitchen is located within the company's main plant that produces gourmet sauce and meal solutions for national food service and catering customers as well as retail stores throughout the U.S.
"The goal of the new facility is to expedite the process from concept to commercialization of a new product," explained Dan Schober, Chief Operating Officer at Provimi Foods. "It not only provides us the opportunity to develop the perfect recipe solutions for our customers, but it also showcases how well our products perform in a live, commercial kitchen setting."
